TO ALL FERMA CONTRACTORS/SUPPLIERS

The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), have directed that all FERMA contractors/suppliers visit their respective FIRS tax offices to register, update and validate their corporate details.

This is in line with the Federal Government’s plan to modernize the systems and strengthen the capacity for utilizing information technology for financial management in order to increase timeliness, quality and reliability of financial data.

The requirements for this exercise include:

  1. Business name
  2. RC Number
  3. Business address
  4. Taxpayer Identification Number – TIN
  5. Line of Business
  6. Business Bank Account details (maximum of four)
  7. Company BVN
  8. Email address
  9. Phone number (GSM)
  10. Certificate of Incorporation (copy)

Please note that any person submitting these requirements must produce an authorization letter signed by the CEO (i.e. MD, President, Vice President, COO, CFO, GM etc) and a means of identification with any of these: Driver’s License, International Passport or National ID Card (NIMC).

Please note that this exercise is mandatory and should be completed within two weeks of this publication as all payment transactions to all FERMA contractors/suppliers shall be based on information provided to FIRS, which will be automatically forwarded to the Government Integrated Financial Management system (GIFMIS) platform for payment purpose.

INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF THE 27TH NATIONAL EXECUTIVES OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THE NIGERIAN STUDENTS (NANS)

In solidarity with the Nigerian Students, the chairman of Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Engr. Ezekiel Olajide Adeniji graced the August occasion as the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) inaugurated their 27th National Executives themed ‘Repositioning Nigerian Students for National Socio-Political Development’.

The event which took place in the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja, on 14th February, 2012 had in attendance the Chairman of the Agency Engr. Ezekiel Adeniji as the guest of honour and chairman of the inaugural ceremony,H.E. Gov. Owelle Rochas Okorocha (Imo state)as the guest speaker amongst other notable dignitaries. As the out-going patron of the association, Engr. Ezekiel Adeniji while speaking admonished and encouraged the new student executives to work towards empowering the Nigerian youths in the right and positive direction.

Once the association’s executives were inaugurated and the president’s acceptance speech given, an investiture on recognition of excellence was invested on Engr. Ezekiel Adeniji as the association’s grand patron and was subsequently requested to launch the association’s website by being the first to click on the already prepared website as well as perform the act of conferring H.E Owelle Rochas Okorocha with an honourary life member honour in recognition of his numerous contributions to Nigeria education and youths in general.
