Chief Press Secretary/Public Relations Officer
The Press and Public Relations Unit is the sole media and public relations advisory organ to the Managing Director, Management and Board of Directors. It researches, produces and publishes all press releases, editorials, adverts, advertorials, supplementary, feature articles as well as documentaries and jingles. It is also the editorial clearing house for the Agency’s website. To meet the Agency’s objective of positively engaging the general public and road sector stakeholders, the unit gauges public opinion of the Agency and matters relating to it, with a view to proffering necessary management advice and strategies.
The Unit also publishes the Agency’s quarterly bulletin and annual yearbook, serves as secretariat for the contact committee of the Board, as well as advise and handle strategic liaisons with all governmental bodies, organizations and other stakeholders.
Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
